Day 10
It is only day 10 of the 30 day experience and I am LOVING it. The sense of adventure, independence and self confidence that I have gained is amazing. I have met so many similar and different people from me both on the group, locals and fellow travelers. I feel that our group has known each other for months, and not just on a ‘hey what’s your major?’ level, but on a ‘what books do you like to read? where have you traveled? how do you feel about universal healthcare?’ I am loving the depth of the conversations I am having and the trust/realness this group brings to situations.
Currently in Amsterdam, relaxing for the night until we head to Germany tomorrow at 7 am. It has been great to nap, write postcards, journal and watch the travel channel in the 4 star hotel we are in. Very excited for warm weather on our upcoming locations and the new experiences/adventures I will encounter. Thanks for continuing to read my blog, shutout especially to Mr. Pechin! It was great to see you and the MRS. on skype with my funny parents. Love you guys, so thankful for this opportunity abroad!
