Today is the day. After months and months of high hopes, disappointment and desperately trying to find a travel companion to accompany me on the trip of a lifetime I can finally say I AM GOING TO EUROPE TO TRAVEL! I still remain in this weird calm, mellow, quiet state where I can’t believe I will be boarding a plane for London in a few hours, meeting friends I haven’t met yet and traveling to 8 countries in 30 days. Through this blog I will try and express my adventures, friendships, laughs, tears, frustrations etc along the way. Prayers would be greatly appreciated for safety, health, understanding, and most importantly an open heart and mind for experiencing new cultures and people while abroad. Thanks in advance for the prayers, and goodbye Merica and hello LONDON!
P.S. Can I just say I am pumped to be in the place of the 2012 Olympics, hoping I bump into Lolo Jones, Usain Bolt, Ryan Locthe or any olympic athlete along the way. Unlikely, but a girl can dream.
